Since inception, Dowland has consistently maintained a strong commitment to the employment and training of Aboriginal workers in all our projects, public sector and private sector alike. In the Mackenzie Delta Region, no company has been able to come close to replicating our success in harnessing the talents of the aboriginal workforce in the construction industry. This is because we hire and train local workers and know that it works effectively and economically.
Community support is key to our success and Dowland employees and management are proud citizens of each region where we operate. We take an active approach to our corporate responsibility and each year we garner support for local school programs. As well, all our offices support our communities through regular donations and sponsorships.
